How to Scan to PDF
- On a phone, tap the button and take a photo of each page (or choose existing photos).
- Put the pages in order and choose an enhancement mode. "Black and white" gives the sharpest text.
- Click "Create PDF" and download your scanned document.
Frequently asked questions
Which mode should I choose?
"Automatic" brightens and sharpens colors. "Black and white" is best for text documents because it removes shadows and paper color. "Original" leaves the photo unchanged.
Can I make the text searchable?
Yes. Run the created PDF through "Image to Text (OCR)" and choose "Searchable PDF".
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens on your phone or computer. Your photos never leave your device.
