Frequently asked questions

How is this different from splitting?

Extracting puts the pages you select into one PDF. To save every page separately or split by ranges, use {tool:split}.

Does page quality change?

No. Pages are copied without re-rendering, so text, images and links stay exactly the same.

Can I change the page order?

Extracted pages keep their original order. To reorder them, open the result in {tool:organize}.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser and your PDF never leaves your device.
