Frequently asked questions

Which Markdown features are supported?

Headings, paragraphs, bold, italic, strikethrough, bullet and numbered lists, quotes, inline code and code blocks, tables, links, horizontal rules and images.

Why is my image not showing?

For your privacy the tool never loads anything from the internet. Only images embedded as data URLs (data:image/png;base64,…) are included. Images linked from the web are shown as their alt text.

Can I select the text in the PDF?

Yes. The text is real text with embedded fonts, so you can select, search and copy it. Headings also appear as bookmarks.

Can I use HTML tags?

No. For safety, HTML tags are shown as plain text. Use Markdown syntax instead.

Is my text uploaded?

No. The preview and the PDF are made in your browser. Your draft is only stored on this device.
