Frequently asked questions

Which field types can I add?

Single-line text, multi-line text, checkboxes, drop-down lists with your own options, and date fields. A date field is a short text field with a date format hint.

How is the form filled in afterwards?

Open it in any PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, your browser or a phone app. You can also use Fill PDF Form.

Why does every field need a unique name?

The name identifies the field inside the PDF. Two fields with the same name would share one value, so each name must be different.

Are accented letters supported?

Yes. The fields use a font that covers accented Latin letters such as é, ß, ş and ğ.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The form is built in your browser and your PDF never leaves your device.
