Deskew PDF
When paper goes into the scanner slightly crooked, the whole page comes out tilted and is harder to read. This tool measures the slope of the lines on each page and straightens it. Pages that are already straight are kept as they are.
How to Deskew PDF
- Drop or choose the scanned PDF.
- Choose the quality.
- Click "Straighten Pages" and download the corrected PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Which pages are corrected?
Only scanned (image) pages are checked, and tilts of up to 6 degrees are fixed. Pages with real, computer-made text are not touched.
Can I see how many pages were fixed?
Yes, the number of straightened pages is shown when it finishes.
My page is completely sideways.
For 90 or 180 degrees, use {tool:rotate}.
Is my file uploaded?
